MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />AUGUST 5, 2003 <br />Present: President of Council O'Grady, Council Members Dailey, Gareau, Kasler, <br />Limpert, McKay, Miller, Nashar <br />Also Present: Mayor Musial, Law Director Dubelko, Finance Director Copfer, Clerk of <br />Council Seman <br />President of Council O'Grady called the meeting to order at 8 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br />5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />The minutes of the meeting of June 3, 2003 were approved as written. <br />The minutes of the meeting of June 17, 2003 were approved as written. <br />The minutes of the special meeting of June 30, 2003 were approved as written. <br />President O'Grady announced the following legislation would be passed under <br />suspension of the rules: Ordinance 2002-149, Resolution 2003-112, Ordinance Nos. <br />2003-113, 2003-114, 2003-115. <br />Councilman Nashar moved to amend the agenda to remove Ordinance No. 2003-93. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. <br />RE <br />Mayor Musial: 1) Welcome back to Council. He is looking forward to working with <br />Council to continue to move the City of North Olmsted forward <br />2) The meals for senior citizens on Tuesdays and Thursdays has outgrown the Senior <br />Center. Originally, we were serving 95/98 people. Presently, it is about 120 people. The <br />meal service will be moved into the Community Cabin. <br />3) Regarding slab repair at Sandy Ridge, Chapel Hill is completed and we have made the <br />turn-around going into Winton Park. Limpert Lane is now being completed. Work is <br />proceeding in the North Park Estates. <br />4) The library is moving along very nicely. The wooden trusses have been brought in <br />and are being assembled on the roof. <br />5) A letter was sent to BFI terminating the contract, and the city will go out for bids for <br />the refuse collection contract. <br />6) South Canterbury Road was completed. The next phase is to pipe the road and fill in <br />the ditch along the east side of the road. <br /> <br />
