Limpert, yes; McKay, yes; Kasler, yes; Dailey, yes; Gareau, yes; Nashar, yes; Miller, yes, <br />commenting that he hopes, if this is to be renewed again, it would be given the opportunity <br />for committee review. The motion passed unanimously. Councilman Limpert moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman McKay and passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 2003-90 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-91 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilwoman Kasler. <br />An ordinance amending Section 141.01 of the Administrative Code, entitled "Dog Warden," <br />in order to clarify the duties of the city's Animal Warden, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-92 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Gareau. <br />An ordinance amending Sections 1359.01(d) and 1359.99 of the Building Code, entitled <br />respectively "Definitions" and "Penalty," and further creating new Sections 1359.08 and <br />1359.09 of the Building Code, entitled respectively "Notification of Unoccupied Commercial <br />Building" and "Property Maintenance Bond," in order to regulate unoccupied commercial <br />buildings, to enable the Building Commissioner to cause the abatement of nuisances, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-93 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Gareau. <br />An ordinance amending Sections 721.04, 721.05, 721.06, and 721.07 of the Business <br />Regulation Code, entitled "Temporary Business License; Fee and Duration," "Location of <br />Temporary Place of Business," and "Deposit for Cleaning Premises," in order to further <br />regulate the outdoor storage and sale of goods from commercial parking areas, to restrict <br />commercial tent and sidewalk sales, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilwoman Kasler recorded her votes on legislation passed at the last Council meeting <br />due to her absence: 2003-80, yes; 2003-50, yes to override Mayor's veto; 2003-66, yes; <br />2002-86, yes on amendment, suspension and ordinance; 2002-87, yes on amendment, <br />suspension and ordinance; 2003-75, yes on suspension and ordinance; 2003-76, yes on <br />suspension and ordinance; 2003-78, yes on suspension and ordinance; 2003-$2, yes on <br />suspension and ordinance; 2003-85, yes on suspension and ordinance. <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled a Streets & Drainage Committee meeting for Tuesday, June <br />10, at 6 p.m. to discuss 2003-86. The City Engineer is asked to attend. <br />President O'Grady scheduled aCommittee-of--the-Whole meeting immediately following the <br />Streets & Drainage Committee to discuss the positions of Planning Director and Property <br />Maintenance Inspector. The Mayor, Law Director and Finance Director are asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Kasler scheduled a Public Safety Committee meeting immediately following <br />the Committee-of--the-Whole meeting to discuss Ordinance 2003-91 and a liquor permit. <br />18 <br />
