Council Minutes of 5/7/2003 <br />,~ are required to do their 40 hours of work plus any other request that is placed upon them. <br />That is the position he took when he went into management and was on call 24 hours a <br />day. If an individual understands that when they take the job, then they have no <br />complaints. <br />Resolution No. 2003-66 introduced by Council members Miller, Kasler, Gareau, McKay, <br />Nashar and Dailey was given its second reading. A resolution expressing this Council's <br />commitment to appropriate and transfer fiscal year 2003 carryover funds in fiscal year <br />2004 to the city's four (4) special funds from which funds were legislatively redirected in <br />fiscal year 2003, if it is fiscally responsible in fiscal year 2004 to do so. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-67 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance creating new Section 163.03 of Chapter 163 of the Administrative Code of the <br />City of North Olmsted, entitled "Department of Human Resources," for the purpose of <br />establishing the new positions of Nutrition Aide 1 and Nutrition Aide 2 within the <br />organizational chart of the city's Department of Human Resources and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman McKay moved for suspension of the rule requiring three <br />readings and noted that the legislation had been reviewed in committee. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Councilman McKay moved <br />for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-67 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-69 introduced by Councilman Gareau was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance amending Section 950.03 of Chapter 950 of the Streets, Utilities and Public <br />Services Code entitled "Urban Forest" by inserting standards and procedures for tree <br />preservation and/or removal permits in the course of development plan review and to <br />authorize the assessment of permit fees for the Forester's review, and declaring an <br />emergency, as amended. Councilman Gareau moved for suspension of the rule requiring <br />three readings and noted the legislation had been reviewed in committee. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Nashaz and passed unanimously. Councilman Gareau <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 2003-69 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-70 introduced by Councilman Gareau was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance amending Section 950.02 of Chapter 950 of the Streets, Utilities and Public <br />Services Code entitled "Urban Forest" to revise certain duties of the City Forester, and <br />declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Gareau moved for suspension of the <br />rule requiring three readings and noted that it had been reviewed by committee. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />Gareau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2003-70 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-71 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />McKay. An ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2003. <br />Councilman McKay moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings and noted <br />p~ <br />17 <br />war,, , -+~ea~ wtt~~.x.-..z~. <br />
