Council Minutes of 5/7/2003 <br />Resolution No. 2003-78 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an ageement <br />with Ramsey & Associates Personnel Management, Inc., to provide testing services to the <br />Civil Service Commission in connection with the Assistant Fire Chief promotional <br />examination, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman McKay scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />May 13, for discussion of Resolutions 2003-76, 2003-77, 2003-78. The Finance <br />Director, Safety Director and Mayor or his designee are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled a Streets & Drainage Committee meeting immediately <br />following the Finance Committee on May 13 to discuss Ordinance 2003-75. The Mayor <br />or his designee is asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Kasler scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting <br />for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14. The agenda will include all legislation and issues <br />from the cancelled meeting plus discussions of the Fire Station No. 2 roof, an emergency <br />warning system, the Springvale parking lot and a liquor permit. The Mayor and Safety <br />Director are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Miller scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations and Legislation; Long- <br />Range Planning Committee meeting to immediately follow the Public Safety Committee <br />on Wednesday, May 14, to discuss Ordinance 2003-43. The Safety Director is asked to <br />submit his revised list of questions to Mr. Miller and the Law Department so they can be <br />reviewed prior to discussion at the committee. <br />Councilman Limpert asked Councilman Gareau to obtain information from Mr. Mongello <br />regarding the costs to remodel the former fire station. Councilman McKay noted that he <br />and Councilman Limpert had previously discussed the idea of replacing the flat roof on <br />the fire station with a hip roof. Councilwoman Kasler asked that these comments be sent <br />to the Safety Director for review prior to the committee meeting. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President O'Grady adjourned the meeting at 10:35 p.m. <br />~J ~~ <br />~ Barbara L.
