Council Minutes of 4/15/2003 <br />Ordinance No. 2003-70 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Gazeau. An ordinance amending Section 950.02 of Chapter 950 of the Streets, Utilities <br />and Public Services Code entitled "Urban Forest" to revise certain duties of the City <br />Forester. <br />MISCELL~NE,t,~US B~jSIN~SS <br />Councilman McKay scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />April 29. The committee will discuss Resolution 2003-66 and Ordinance 2003-67 and <br />the comp time issue for directors. The Finance Director and a represenrtative from the <br />Senior Center are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Miller scheduled an Infra Governmental Relations and Legislation; Long- <br />Range Planning Committee meeting for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22. The committee <br />will discuss Ordinance 2003-43, the issue of a planning consultant, the use of the old <br />library building, organization of the WWTP, and pending resolutions in Columbus. The <br />Law Director, Mayor, Service Director, WWTP Superintendent (and WWTP employees <br />who wish to attend), and a represe~ative from the school boazd aze asked to attend. <br />Councilman Nashar scheduled a joint BZD and Environmental Control Committee <br />meeting to immediately follow the Finance Committee on Apri129. The committee will <br />discuss Ordinances 2003-69 and 2003-70, the Shell service station at Clague and Lorain <br />roads, and any items coming from the Planning Commission. The Law Director, a <br />Building Department representative, and a Service Dept. representative or City Forester <br />are asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Kesler scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfaze Committee meeting <br />to immediately follow the BZD Committee on April 29. The committee will discuss <br />several pieces of legislation that are on hold: 2001-129, 2002-85, 2002-86, 2002-87, <br />2002-88. Also discussed will be the Canterbury Road speed limit, bicycle safety issues, <br />and Sweetbrier safety issues with regard to the school guard. The Law Director and <br />Safety Director are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Gazeau scheduled a Recreation Committee meeting for 6:30 p.m. on <br />Tuesday, April 29, to discuss tennis courts.
