Council Minutes of 2/4/2003 <br />Ordinance No. 2003-14 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance establishing the compensation and benefits to be paid to all part-time hourly <br />employees employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2003-15 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution amending Section 2 of Resolution No. 2002-150, which authorized the Mayor <br />to advertise for bids and to thereafter, following approval of the Board of Control, enter <br />into a contract or contracts for the construction of the new North Olmsted Library, in <br />order to increase the maximum expenditure authorized for construction of the building <br />and other related site improvements, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2003-16 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with Tac Computer, Inc., providing for maintenance service for the Police Department's <br />computers and software programs, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-17 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Gareau. An ordinance amending Section 167.02 of the Administrative Code, entitled <br />"Director," and creating new Section 177.02 of the Administrative Code, entitled <br />"Removal of Director," so as to provide that the Director of Personnel and Administrative <br />Services and the Director of Planning, like all other directors appointed by the Mayor, <br />may be removed only with the concurrence oftwo-thirds (2/3) of the members of Council <br />eligible to vote, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-18 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the crediting of all revenues received from <br />emergency medical services and ambulance transportation billings in the year 2003, <br />which would otherwise be credited to the "Emergency Medical Services Fund," to the <br />General Fund, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-19 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the crediting of all fines and costs received in the <br />year 2003 by the city from Rocky River Municipal Court as a result of the disposition of <br />traffic citations issued by Police officers while on "STOP" duty, up to a maximum <br />amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00), which would otherwise be credited to the <br />"STOP Program Fund," to the General Fund, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-20 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the crediting of all of insurance proceeds revenues <br />received in the year 2003, up to a maximum amount of fifty thousand dollars <br />($50,000.00), which would otherwise be credited to the "Casualty Loss Fund," to the <br />General Fund, and declaring an emergency. <br />15 <br />
