Council Minutes of 12-21-2004 <br />proceed with negotiations with property owners of one or more sites that have been <br />identified as acceptable by the Fire Department and by the recommendation of the <br />Planning Commission for replacement Fire Station No. 2, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2004-203 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to purchase three (3) new Crown <br />Victoria Interceptor cruisers and one (1) Excursion, and related Police equipment, for the <br />North Olmsted Police Department through the State Purchase Program; further <br />authorizing the Mayor to execute all necessary contract documents; and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2004-204 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution authorizing application for and acceptance of a direct grant from the United <br />States Department of Homeland Security in an amount of up to fifty thousand dollars <br />($50,000.00) to be used for the purchase of equipment to improve the ability of the North <br />Olmsted Police Department to respond to and deal with a terrorist attack or incident in <br />the City of North Olmsted; and further authorizing the Mayor or Chief of Police, as <br />applicable, to execute the necessary grant-related documents, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2004-205 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution granting to the Cuyahoga County Board of Commissioners a standard <br />highway easement in conjunction with the Crocker-Stearns Road project. Councilman <br />Nashar moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and formal committee <br />review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller. Roll call: Nashar, yes; Miller, <br />yes; McKay, yes; Limpert, yes; Kasler, yes; Gareau, no; Dailey, yes. The motion passed <br />with six yes votes and one no vote. Councilman Nashar moved for adoption. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Miller and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2004-205 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2004-206 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution granting to the Cuyahoga County Board of Commissioners a temporary <br />right-of--way in conjunction with the Crocker-Stearns Road project.
