Ordinance No. 2004-196 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-197 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Service to request proposals from <br />professional land surveyors for land surveying services for the new Fire Station No. 2 <br />project, further authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to <br />enter into a contract with the land surveying firm selected in the RFP process, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-198 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Service to request proposals from <br />construction management firms for construction management services for the new Fire <br />Station No. 2 project, further authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of <br />Control, to enter into a contract with the construction management firm selected in the <br />RFP process, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-199 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Service to request proposals from <br />professional architects for design services for the new Fire Station No. 2 project, further <br />authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a <br />contract with the architectural firm selected in the RFP process, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-200 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Gareau. An ordinance amending Sections 1115.02 and 1139.06 of the city's Zoning Code <br />in order to better define and distinguish different categories of restaurants for Zoning <br />Code purposes, and to exclude small sandwich shops from the 1.5 acre minimum lot size <br />requirement of the General Retail Business District regulations. Councilman Gareau <br />requested that the legislation be referred to the Planning Commission. <br />Resolution No. 2004-201 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution extending the Public Transportation Operating Agreement between the City <br />of North Olmsted and the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority through March <br />31, 2005, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Nashar moved for suspension of the <br />rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded <br />by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Councilman Nashar moved for <br />adoption, and the motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert. Roll call: Nashar, yes; <br />Limpert, yes, with comment that he would like to thank RTA for slowing the process <br />down to think about what they are doing. Roll call continued: McKay, yes; Kasler, yes; <br />Dailey, yes; Miller, yes; Gareau, yes. The motion passed unanimously.
