MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />DECEMBER 7, 2004 <br />Present: President of Council O'Grady, Council Members Dailey, Gareau, Kasler, <br />Limpert, McKay, Miller, Nashar <br />Also Present: Mayor Musial, Law Director Dubelko, Finance Director Copfer, Clerk of <br />Council Seman <br />President O'Grady called the meeting to order at 8:05 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 <br />Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />As it was Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, President O'Grady asked for a moment of <br />silence in memory of the service members who died at Pearl Harbor and in recognition of <br />all service members past and present. <br />Councilman Gareau moved to amend the agenda to remove Ordinances 2004-164, <br />,,,.. 2004-179 and 2004-184, and the motion was seconded by Councilman McKay. The <br />motion passed unanimously, and the agenda was amended. <br />Councilman Gareau made a motion to refer Ordinance 2004-164 back to the Finance <br />Committee, and the motion was seconded by Councilwoman Kasler. Roll call: Gareau, <br />yes; Kasler, yes; Limpert, yes; McKay, no; Miller, yes; Dailey, yes; Nashar, yes. The <br />motion passed with six yes votes and one no vote. Ordinance 2004-164 is referred back <br />to the Finance Committee. <br />Councilman Gareau made a motion to amend the agenda to reflect a revision to <br />Resolution 2004-193, and the title will read: "A resolution supporting the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line ("NOMBL") and urging the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit <br />Authority ("GCRTA") Board of Trustees to extend and continue the long-standing <br />relationships between NOMBL and GCRTA, and the Maple Heights Bus Line and <br />GCRTA, which have so well served the bus transit needs of the western and eastern <br />suburbs of Cuyahoga County for almost thirty (30) years, and declaring an emergency." <br />The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Kasler and was passed unanimously. <br />Resolution 2004-193 is revised on the agenda. <br />The minutes of the Council meeting of November 16, 2004 were approved as written. <br />The minutes of the special Council meeting of December 2, 2004 were approved as <br />written. <br />,~+~ <br />
