MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED OCTOBER 19, 2004 Present: President of Council O'Grady, Council Members Dailey, Gareau, Kasler, Limpert, McKay, Miller, Nashar Also Present: Law Director Dubelko, Finance Director Copfer, Clerk of Council Seman President O'Grady called the meeting to order at 8:03 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance led by Eagle Scout Paul Moizuk. President O'Grady announced the following legislation would be considered for passage under suspension of the rules: first reading, Resolution Nos. 2004-159, 2004-161, 2004-168 and Ordinance 2004-162. President O'Grady made the following announcements: ^ The first City Council meeting in November will be held on Wednesday, November 3, due to the General Election on Tuesday, November 2. ^ ACommittee-of--the-Whole meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, November 1, to discuss the Master Plan. ^ A public hearing will be held at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, with regard to Ordinance No. 2004-153. SPECIAL LEGISLATION Resolution No. 2004-168 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Gareau on behalf of the Mayor and entire City Council. A resolution commending the achievement by Paul Thomas Kamis Moizuk of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. Councilman Gareau moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Councilman Gareau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2004-168 adopted. Eagle Scout Paul Moizuk was invited to come forward, and the resolution was read in its entirety.
