MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />OCTOBER 19, 2004 <br />Present: President of Council O'Grady, Council Members Dailey, Gareau, Kasler, <br />Limpert, McKay, Miller, Nashar <br />Also Present: Law Director Dubelko, Finance Director Copfer, Clerk of Council Seman <br />President O'Grady called the meeting to order at 8:03 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 <br />Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance led by Eagle Scout Paul Moizuk. <br />President O'Grady announced the following legislation would be considered for passage <br />under suspension of the rules: first reading, Resolution Nos. 2004-159, 2004-161, <br />2004-168 and Ordinance 2004-162. <br />President O'Grady made the following announcements: <br />^ The first City Council meeting in November will be held on Wednesday, November <br />3, due to the General Election on Tuesday, November 2. <br />^ ACommittee-of--the-Whole meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, November <br />1, to discuss the Master Plan. <br />^ A public hearing will be held at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, with regard to <br />Ordinance No. 2004-153. <br />SPECIAL LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 2004-168 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Gareau on behalf of the Mayor and entire City Council. A resolution commending the <br />achievement by Paul Thomas Kamis Moizuk of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. <br />Councilman Gareau moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and <br />committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Gareau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2004-168 adopted. Eagle <br />Scout Paul Moizuk was invited to come forward, and the resolution was read in its <br />entirety.
