Council Minutes of 10/19/2004 <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />President O'Grady reminded all that the Committee-of--the-Whole meeting will be held at <br />7:30 p.m. on November 1, and a public hearing on Ordinance 2004-153 will be held at <br />6:45 p.m. on November 16. <br />Councilman Miller scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting for <br />7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26, to discuss Ordinance 2004-149. The Fire Chief and <br />Assistant Fire Chief are invited to attend and any written information submitted in <br />advance would be appreciated. <br />Councilman McKay scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting to <br />immediately follow the Public Safety Committee on October 26. The committee will <br />discuss Resolution 2004-160, and a representative from the administration is asked to <br />attend. <br />Councilman Dailey scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee <br />meeting to immediately follow the Environmental Committee on October 26. The <br />committee will discuss Resolutions 2004-163 and 2004-167 and Ordinance 2004-1SS. <br />The Safety Director, Mayor and Springvale Manager are asked to attend. Mr. Miller <br />suggested, if the invitees could not attend, that they submit written recommendations for <br />Ordinance 2004-1SS regarding the Springvale rates. <br />Councilman Nashar scheduled a Streets & Transportation Committee meeting <br />immediately following the Recreation Committee on October 26 to discuss Ordinance <br />2004-157. The City Engineer, Service Director and Law Director are asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Kasler scheduled a Finance Committee meeting immediately following <br />the Streets & Transportation Committee on October 26 to discuss Ordinances 2004-1 S8, <br />2004-164, 2004-165 and 2004-166. The Finance Director and NOMBL Manager are <br />asked to attend. <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations Committee meeting <br />immediately following the Finance Committee on October 26 to discuss possible <br />legislation regarding the school funding issue and a potential mayoral appointment. <br />Councilwoman Kasler cast her votes on legislation from the Council meeting of October <br />S, 2004: <br />• On third reading, yes for 2004-119, 2004-138, 2004-139, 2004-142, 1004-143, <br />2004-144, 2004-145 and 2004-146. <br />^ On second reading, yes on suspension and approval for 2004-84. <br />^ On second reading, yes on amendment, suspension and approval for 2004-150. <br />^ On second reading, yes on suspension and approval for 2004-1 S 1. <br />^ On second reading, yes on amendment, suspension and approval of 2004-152. <br />16 <br />t <br />
