Council Minutes of 10/19/2004 <br />Ordinance No. 2004-162 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Dailey on behalf of Mayor Musial and the entire Council. An ordinance amending <br />Section 111.01 of the Administrative Code, entitled "City Contracts Involving Receipt of <br />Funds," in order to except contracts for advertising at the Recreation Complex from the <br />request for proposal (RFP) requirements of said Section 111.01, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Dailey moved for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings and committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and <br />passed unanimously. Councilman Dailey moved for adoption. The motion was seconded <br />by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2004-162 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2004-163 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Dailey on behalf of Mayor Musial. A resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of <br />North Olmsted to enter into a cancellation and termination of lease agreement with the <br />Board of Trustees of Horizon Activities Center for the purpose of terminating the lease of <br />the city's real property at 26272 Butternut Ridge Road, formerly used by Horizon <br />Activities Center as an early intervention center for disabled children, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-164 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilwoman <br />Kasler on behalf of Mayor Musial. An ordinance establishing the range of compensation <br />rates and salary ranges for the various administrative and legislative personnel for the <br />years 2005 and 2006, also amending Sections 18, 19, 20, 22 and 23 relating to benefits <br />for said personnel, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-165 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilwoman <br />Kasler on behalf of Mayor Musial. An ordinance establishing new compensation rates <br />and benefits to be paid to part-time hourly employees of the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-166 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilwoman <br />Kasler on behalf of Mayor Musial. An ordinance establishing the compensation, benefits <br />and working conditions for the years 2005 and 2006 for salaried employees employed by <br />the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, who are not members of the A.F.S.C.M.E., Local <br />3517, collective bargaining unit, which said compensation is reimbursed by the Greater <br />Cleveland Regional Transit Authority in the operating agreement, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2004-167 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Dailey on behalf of Mayor Musial and the entire Council. A resolution authorizing the <br />Mayor to enter into a contract with Sports Venue Advertising, Inc., for the purpose of <br />selling advertisement space on the dasherboards, walls, and other locations at the <br />Recreation Complex, and declaring an emergency. <br />F~ <br />15 <br />.._ <br />I <br />
