Council Minutes of 10/19/2004 <br />Kasler, yes; McKay, yes; Nashar, yes. The motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. <br />2004-156 tabled. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-157 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Nashar on behalf of Mayor Musial. An ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio, hereinafter referred to as the MUNICIPALITY, authorizing a <br />cooperation agreement between the MUNICIPALITY and the COUNTY in the matter of <br />the hereinafter described improvement (Clague Road (CR-52) from Interstate I-480 to <br />Lorain Road), and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-158 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilwoman <br />Kasler on behalf of Mayor Musial. An ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for <br />current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year <br />ending December 31, 2004. <br />Resolution No. 2004-159 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />McKay on behalf of Mayor Musial. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public <br />Service to solicit bids for the purchase of eight thousand (8,000) tons of rock salt for ice <br />and snow removal per specifications on file in his office, and authorizing the Mayor to <br />enter into a contract for said purchase subject to approval by the Board of Control, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman McKay moved for suspension of the rules <br />requiring three readings and committee review. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 2004-159 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2004-160 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />McKay on behalf of Mayor Musial and the entire Council. A resolution authorizing the <br />Mayor to enter into a contract with the Cuyahoga County General Health District for the <br />year 2005, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2004-161 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />McKay on behalf of the entire Council. A resolution authorizing the expenditure of <br />funds for the purchase from and installation by the Illuminating Company of a new <br />transformer for the Waste Water Treatment Plant, further authorizing the Mayor, on <br />behalf of the city, to execute any agreement or other document required by the <br />Illuminating Company to effectuate the purchase and installation, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman McKay moved for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings and committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and <br />passed unanimously. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Nashar. Councilman Miller thanked resident Chuck Dial for <br />bringing this issue to Council's attention.
