Council Minutes of 10/5/2004 ,~,:, LEGISLATION Ordinance No. 2004-119 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An ordinance amending Sections 1345.01 and 1345.02 of the Building Code to exclude landscaping features from permit and fencing requirements in Section 1345.01 and 1345.02 and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Gazeau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashaz and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2004-199 adopted. Ordinance No. 2004-138 introduced by Councilman Nashaz on behalf of Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, hereinafter referred to as the Local Public Agency (LPA), in the matter of the stated described project (Improvement of Great Northern Boulevard from Butternut Ridge Road to Country Club Boulevazd), and declaring an emergency. Councilman Nashaz moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman McKay and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2004-138 adopted. Ordinance No. 2004-139 introduced by Councilwoman Kasler on behalf of Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An ordinance amending range of compensation rates for existing positions in the Department of Human Resources for the yeazs 2004 and 2005; and otherwise re-stating the compensation rate ranges for various administrative and legislative personnel for the yeazs 2004 and 2005, and declazing an emergency. Councilman Gazeau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2004-139 adopted. Resolution No. 2004-142 introduced by Councilman Dailey on behalf of Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to enter into an agreement with Fairview Home Improvement Company, for the purpose of removing and replacing the roof of the Senior Center, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Dailey moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2004-142 adopted. Resolution No. 2004-143 introduced by Councilman Limpert was given its third reading. A resolution authorizing and directing the Director of the Department of Planning to make application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for the fiscal year 2005 for parking area improvements at the North Olmsted Multi-Service Senior Center, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2004-143 adopted. Resolution No. 2004-144 introduced by Councilman Limpert was given its third reading. A resolution authorizing and directing the Director of the Department of Planning to make application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for the fiscal yeaz 2005 for the exterior maintenance grant program, and declaring an emergency.
