Council Minutes of 10/5/2004 <br />,~,:, LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 2004-119 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending Sections 1345.01 and 1345.02 of the Building Code to exclude <br />landscaping features from permit and fencing requirements in Section 1345.01 and <br />1345.02 and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Gazeau moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashaz and passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-199 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-138 introduced by Councilman Nashaz on behalf of Mayor Musial <br />was given its third reading. An ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio, hereinafter referred to as the Local Public Agency (LPA), in the <br />matter of the stated described project (Improvement of Great Northern Boulevard from <br />Butternut Ridge Road to Country Club Boulevazd), and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Nashaz moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />McKay and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2004-138 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-139 introduced by Councilwoman Kasler on behalf of Mayor Musial <br />was given its third reading. An ordinance amending range of compensation rates for <br />existing positions in the Department of Human Resources for the yeazs 2004 and 2005; <br />and otherwise re-stating the compensation rate ranges for various administrative and <br />legislative personnel for the yeazs 2004 and 2005, and declazing an emergency. <br />Councilman Gazeau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2004-139 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2004-142 introduced by Councilman Dailey on behalf of Mayor Musial <br />was given its third reading. A resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted, to enter into an agreement with Fairview Home Improvement Company, <br />for the purpose of removing and replacing the roof of the Senior Center, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Dailey moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2004-142 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2004-143 introduced by Councilman Limpert was given its third reading. <br />A resolution authorizing and directing the Director of the Department of Planning to <br />make application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG) funds for the fiscal year 2005 for parking area improvements at the <br />North Olmsted Multi-Service Senior Center, and declaring an emergency. Councilman <br />Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and <br />passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2004-143 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2004-144 introduced by Councilman Limpert was given its third reading. <br />A resolution authorizing and directing the Director of the Department of Planning to <br />make application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG) funds for the fiscal yeaz 2005 for the exterior maintenance grant <br />program, and declaring an emergency.
