Council Minutes of 8/17/2004 <br />~. Resolution No. 2004-129 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />,,,~ A resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a renewal <br />agreemern with the Department of the Navy for the lease of two (2) EA.AN/PVS-5 night <br />vision goggles to be used by the North Olmsted Police Department, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-130 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Dailey on behalf of himself and Councilman Miller and Councilwoman Kasler. An <br />ordinance creating new Section 505.081 and amending Section 505.08 of Chapter 505 of <br />the General Offenses Code entitled "Animals and Fowl," in order to require that dog <br />owners carry materials or implemerns for collecting feces while walking their dogs, and <br />further to more clearly establish that allowing animals to defecate on the properties of <br />others creates a nuisance condition proscribed by Section 505.08 <br />Ordinance No. 2004-133 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into cone-year personal services agreement <br />with the law firm of Rademaker, Matty, McClelland & Greve to provide professional and <br />specialized legal services, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2004-134 was inroduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Limpert on behalf of Councilwoman Kasler. An amended and/or restated resolution of <br />the Council of the City of North Olmsted of Cuyahoga Courny, Ohio, determining to <br />continue to pick-up the ten percent (10%) mandatory contributions by Police Department <br />employees who are members of the Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund through a payroll <br />reduction. Councilman Limpert moved for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings and committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and <br />passed unanimously. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2004-134 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2004-135 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Limpert on behalf of Councilwoman Kasler. An amended and/or restated resolution of <br />the Council of the City of North Olmsted of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, determining to <br />continue to pick-up the ten percent (10•,/0) mandatory contributions by Fire Department <br />employees who are members of the Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund through a payroll <br />reduction.
