Special Council Minutes of 6/28/2004 <br />continued: Kasler, yes; McKay, yes; Nashar, yes. The motion passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 2004-115 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2004-116 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Vantage McCann, <br />Inc., to provide the Civil Service Commission with entry level testing materials for a <br />f refighter/paramedic examination, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Limpert <br />moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Fire Chief <br />Klecan came forward and said that he was notified this morning that a current firefighter <br />has accepted disability, and that means there is a funded position that is vacant. He <br />believes it would be in the best interest of the city to go forward with this testing. <br />Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Nashar and passed unanimously.
