MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />'~~ OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JUNE 15, 2004 <br />Present: President of Council O'Grady, Council Members Dailey, Gareau, Kasler, <br />Limpert, McKay, Miller, Nashar <br />Also Present: Mayor Musial, Law Director Dubelko, Finance Director Copfer, Clerk of <br />Council Seman <br />President of Council O'Grady called the meeting to order at 8:08 p.m. in Council <br />Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance as led by Eagle Scout Kevin Kurtz. <br />The minutes of the special Council meeting of May 26, 2004 were approved as written. <br />The minutes of the Council meeting of June 1, 2004 were approved as written. <br />President O'Grady announced that the following legislation would be considered for <br />passage under suspension of the rules: first reading, Resolution 2004-105, Ordinance <br />2004-111, and Resolution 2004-112; second reading, Ordinances 2004-97, 2004-100, and <br />2004-104. <br />President O'Grady announced a special Council meeting would be held at 8 p.m. on <br />Monday, June 28. The subjects will be Parcel E and Ordinance 2004-107. <br />President O'Grady announced that a public hearing would be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />August 3, regarding Ordinance 2004-66. <br />President O'Grady announced that City Council will be on vacation for the month of <br />July. <br />SPECIAL LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 2004-112 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Nashar on behalf of the entire Council and the Mayor. A resolution commending the <br />achievement by Kevin Barton Kurtz of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. <br />Councilman Nashar moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and <br />committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Nashar moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2004-112 adopted. <br />President O'Grady invited Kevin to come forward, and the resolution was read in its <br />entirety. Kevin was congratulated by members of Council, the administration and <br />;~ recognized by all present. <br />
