Council Minutes of 6/1/20(14 <br />Mayor? Roll call: Dailey, yes; Gareau, yes; Kasler, yes; Limpert, no; McKay, no; <br />Miller, yes; Nashar, yes. The veto was overridden by a vote of five to two. Ordinance <br />No. 2004-41 adopted notwithstanding the veto of the Mayor. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Gareau scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />June 8, to discuss one Planning Commission item and Ordinances 2004-100, 2004-101, <br />2004-103, and Ordinance 2004-66. The Director of Planning, the Law Director and a <br />Building Department representative are asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Kasler scheduled a Finance Committee meeting following the BZD <br />Committee on June 8 to discuss Ordinances 2004-97 and 2004-104. The Law Director is <br />asked to attend. As the Finance Director will not be able to attend, she is asked to <br />provide information through a memo. <br />President O'Grady scheduled a meeting of the Committee-of--the-Whole immediately <br />following the Finance Committee on June 8 to continue the discussion regarding formal <br />Council hearings. <br />Councilman Nashar scheduled a Streets & Transportation Committee meeting to review <br />the summer street repair projects. The Service Director and the Law Director are asked <br />to attend. <br />Councilman Miller scheduled a Public Safety Committee meeting immediately following <br />the Streets & Transportation Committee meeting to discuss an issue dealing with the <br />animal control ordinances and concerns of the Police Dept, with the use of the word <br />"frequently." The Animal Warden and Police Officer Holly are asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Kasler moved to adjourn into executive session to discuss imminent <br />litigation regarding the taxpayer's demand from the Safety Director. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. <br />Council adjourned into executive session at 9:35 p.m. <br />President O'Grady reconvened the meeting at 10:04 p.m. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President O'Grady adjourned the meeting at 10:05 p.m. <br />~' U / <br />-~ ~~ (~ <br />L.
