retention basin. Everything that is 4-inches or higher will be saved and not removed unless it
is diseased or a shrub. Discussion regarding some of the existing fences along the rear
property lines took place. Mr. Crook questioned if there was any thought to placing a board
onboard fence around the entire perimeter of the site. Mr. Herschman suggested that if the
City wants the entire perimeter fenced then they would be willing to fence in the entire site.
However, they feel there is enough existing foliage to buffer the neighbors. Mr. Crook
voiced a concern regarding the density of having white-pine and Austrian-pines only. Mr.
Zergott agreed and suggested using a mixture of Norway-spruce and Austrian-pine. Ms.
Wenger questioned if there- was landscaping proposed for the east property line. Mr.
Herschman answered "no" it is all woods now. However, if the abutting property is
developed they will address landscaping the east property line. Mr. Zergott felt that they
could make it part of the motion that in the future if the east land is developed then Ganley
will have to address landscaping the area. Mr. Crook is concerned that the west side
property line should be board on board not chainlink. The photometric plan submitted shows
some bleed over but within code. He asked that shields be added to the light poles along the
west side of the site.
B. Zergott motion to accept Ganley Westside VW of 25600 Lorain Road as presented
and includes the gray accent bands. The landscaping plan is approved changing the
white pin4 to a mixture of Norway-spruce and Austrian-pine. The Planning
Commission will address the type of fencing. Landscaping is to be added across the
east property line to be pine and spruce again to buffer any future development, when it
ecc~unes. J. Crook seconded the motion, which was unanimously approved.
