'Memorandum <br />~~~ <br />November 12, 2003 <br />To: Planning Commission Members <br />Kimberly Wenger, Director of Planning <br />Bryan O'Malley, Assistant Director of Law <br />David Conway, Building Commissioner <br />From: Cathy Becker, P.E., Assistant City Engineer (~',~ <br />Re: Planning Commission Agenda Item - Ganley Westside VW Development Plans <br />Engineering Review Standards Acceptability <br />The plans are acceptable to the Engineering Department. See the attached copy of review <br />letter sent to the applicant. <br />Issues that Need to be Addressed by Planning Commission <br />The proposed drives are located within 100 feet of the existing intersections of Lorain <br />Road and Bailey Road and Fleharty Road. This does not conform to Ordinance <br />1161.10(a). <br />Please note that the proposed underground stormwater detention system will be located in <br />the rear of the property in the area zoned residential. A proposed storm sewer is shown <br />along the north property line adjacent to the existing residential property. In order to <br />construct this storm sewer, the land will have to be cleared up to the property line. <br />Also, stormwater management calculations have not been submitted to the Engineering <br />Department for review yet. <br />En~ineerin~ Department Recommendation Re Planning Commission Approval <br />The Engineering Department has no objection to the approval of the plans provided that <br />stormwater management issues addressed in the attached letter are resolved. <br />Attachment <br />cc: Gary J.
