Council Minutes of 2/3/2004 <br />Resolution No. 2004-16 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Cuyahoga County <br />Juvenile Court in connection with a Community Diversion Program to address juvenile <br />misdemeanor and status offenders in the City of North Olmsted and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilwoman Kasler moved for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings and committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and <br />passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2004-16 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-17 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Gareau. An ordinance amending Section 111.02 of Chapter 111 of the Administrative <br />Code, entitled "City Contracts" in order to require the city's contractors to disclose <br />information relating to past litigation involving claims by or against the contractor <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSIlYESS <br />Because of his absence from the special Council meeting of January 22, 2004, <br />Councilman Limpert asked to have his votes recorded on legislation passed at the special <br />Council meeting: yes on 2004-9; yes on 2004-10. <br />Councilman Gareau scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />February 10, to discuss Ordinances 2003-164, 2004-12, 2004-14, 2003-148 and a <br />Planning Commission item. The Planning Director, Law Director and Building <br />Commissioner or his representative are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Dailey scheduled a Recreation Committee meeting immediately following <br />the BZD Committee on February 10 to discuss Ordinance 2004-13 and the proposed <br />watering system at the soccer fields. The Service Director and Safety Director are asked <br />to attend. <br />Councilman Miller scheduled a joint Public Safety, Health & Welfare and Finance <br />Committee meeting immediately following the Recreation Committee on February 10 to <br />discuss Ordinance 2004-11. The sponsor of the legislation is asked to attend as well as <br />members of the administration requested by the Mayor who will be able to make an <br />informed presentation to Council. <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations Committee meeting <br />immediately following the joint Public Safety and Finance Committee on February 10. <br />The committee will discuss Ordinance 2004-17 and the Rules of Council with regard to <br />the responsible committee for money issues. <br />Councilman Gareau moved that Council adjourn into executive session.
