Council Minutes of 1/20/2004 Councilwoman Kasler scheduled a Finance Committee meeting to immediately follow ` the Intra-Governmental Relations Committee on January 27. The committee will discuss Ordinances 2004-5 and 2004-8. The Mayor and Finance Director are asked to attend. Councilman Dailey scheduled a Recreation Committee meeting to immediately follow the Finance Committee on January 27. The committee will discuss Ordinance 2004-6. Safety Director Jesse or his designee is asked to attend. Councilman Nashar scheduled a Streets & Transportation Committee meeting to immediately follow the Recreation Committee on January 27. The committee will discuss the south Claque Road repair project and Ordinance 2003-22. Service Director Driscoll will invite a representative from the County Engineer's office to attend for the discussion of Claque Road. The City Engineer and Service Director are asked to attend. Councilman Gareau scheduled a Building, Zoning and Development Committee meeting to immediately follow the Streets & Transportation Committee on January 27 to discuss Ordinance 2003-144. The Planning Director is asked to attend. Councilman Gareau asked and Council agreed to set a public hearing on Ordinance No. 2003-144 for 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3. (Council will meet on Wednesday March 3, as Tuesday, March 2, is the primary election day.) Councilman Miller informed Council that a presentation will be made by a private organization at 7 p.m. on Monday, February 2, at the Recreation Center on the proposal for improvement of the BartonBradley soccer fields. Councilman Nashar explained his wish to switch committee membership with Councilwoman Kasler from the Public Safety Committee to the Recreation Committee as he has not served on the Recreation Committee during his tenure. Councilwoman Kasler agreed to the change. Councilwoman Kasler moved that Councilman Nashar be placed on the Recreation Committee as a member and that she be placed on the Public Safety Committee as a member. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Councilman Gareau made a motion to adopt the Rules of Council as previously amended during 2003 for the years 2004 and 2005. The motion was seconded by Councilman Dailey and passed unanimously.
