Council Minutes of 12/20/2005 <br />Resolution No. 2005-182 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Tallon. A resolution directing the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of <br />North Olmsted, Ohio, during the year 2006, all money due and owing said city from any <br />collection source. Councilman Tallon moved for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Gareau and passed unanimously. Councilman Tallon moved for adoption. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2005-182 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2005-187 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a renewed one-year service contract, for <br />the term January 1, 2006 through December 31, 2006, with TAC Computer Inc., in order <br />to provide maintenance and repair services for various computer hardware and software <br />at the Police Department. <br />Resolution No. 2005-188 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a renewed one-year contract with LK <br />Heating & Cooling Inc. to perform maintenance upon the heating and cooling equipment <br />at various city buildings, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2005-189 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a lease, or amended lease, with Dollar <br />Leasing Corp., for the purpose of supplying a new copy machine for the City Hall <br />mailroom, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2005-190 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Tallon. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the State <br />Auditor and Ciuni & Panichi, Inc., certified public accountants, providing for the latter to <br />serve as independent public accountants for the State Auditor's annual audits of the City <br />of North Olmsted for the year 2005 through 2008, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Tallon moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and formal <br />committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed <br />unanimously. Resident Don Pangrac came forward and questioned the length of the <br />contract. It was explained that this contract is required by the State of Ohio. The CPA <br />firm works for the State, and the city does not have a choice in who is hired. Councilman <br />Tallon moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller and passed <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 2005-190 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2005-191 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Arrow Uniform Rental <br />Limited Partnership to provide uniform rental services to the city's Wastewater <br />Treatment Plant employees and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and <br />passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2005-191 adopted. <br />13 <br />
