Council Minutes of 3/1/25 <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2005-20 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Miller. A resolution opposing President Bush's proposed job cuts at NASA, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Miller moved to suspend the rules requiring three <br />readings and committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Kasler and <br />passed unanimously. Councilman Miller for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilwoman Kasler and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2005-20 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-21 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the crediting of all revenues received from <br />emergency medical services and ambulance transportation billings in the year 2005, <br />which would otherwise be credited to the "Emergency Medical Services Fund," to the <br />General Fund, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUS~iESS <br />Councilman Miller scheduled a Public Safety Committee meeting for 6:30 p.m. on <br />Tuesday, March 8, to discuss Ordinance 2005-18. The sponsor and Service Director are <br />asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Kasler scheduled a Finance Committee meeting immediately following <br />the Public Safety Committee on Tuesday, March 8. The committee will discuss <br />Ordinances 2005-17, 2005-19 and 2005-21 and also the budget issues which were <br />delayed from the cancelled committee meeting of February 28. The Finance Director, <br />Mayor and Safety Director are asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Kasler registered her vote from the February 15, 2005 Council meeting: <br />yes on Resolution 2005-13. <br />Councilman Gareau moved that Council adjourn into executive session to discuss the <br />Ganley litigation. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed <br />unanimously. <br />Council adjourned into executive session at 9:01 p.m. Council reconvened at 9:20 p.m. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President O'Grad}~adjourned the meeting at 9:21 p.m. <br />k <br />j Barbara L.
