Council Minutes of 3/1/2005 <br />Park-n-Ride. She assumes this was at the request of the residents of Kennedy Ridge, but <br />it is an inconvenience as she could walk to the Park-n-Ride if the fence had a gate. <br />Charles Dial, 27959 Gardenia, received the card from the Cleveland Water Dept. to <br />which Mrs. Copfer had referred. He feels this charge is excessive-he could do it for $3 <br />and laugh all the way to the bank. Mrs. Copfer replied that the agreement provides the <br />Water Dept. can raise rates as much as they need every year. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 2005-14 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a renewed memorandum of understanding <br />with the Cuyahoga Soil and Water Conservation District to provide assistance to the City <br />of North Olmsted with the public education and public participation measures for its EPA <br />Phase II Storm Water Program, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-15 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Safety to request proposals for plans <br />examiner and back-up plans examiner services; further, authorizing the Mayor to enter <br />into an agreement with the examiners selected in the RFP process and approved by the <br />Board of Control; and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-16 introduced by Councilman Nashar on behalf of Mayor Musial <br />and the entire Council was given its second reading. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor <br />to enter into an acquisition agreement with the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit <br />Authority, providing for the sale of assets and transfer of all North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line operations to the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-17 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City <br />of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2005. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-18 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Service to request proposals from <br />professional testing firms for various testing services for the new Fire Station No. 2 <br />project, further authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to <br />enter into a contract with the professional testing firm selected in the RFP process, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-19 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance establishing health care benefits for non-bargaining unit employees of the City <br />of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br /> <br />7 <br />
