Council Minutes of 1/18/2005 <br />Resolution No. 2005-10 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor of North Olmsted to enter into aone-year agreement <br />with the City of North Royalton, Ohio, for the stabilization and disposal of biosolids <br />generated by the North Olmsted Wastewater Treatment Plant, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-11 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Gareau. An ordinance amending Sections 1363.08 and 1363.10 of Chapter 1363 of the <br />Real Property Maintenance Code, by removing the administrative appeal and variance <br />procedures contained therein, and otherwise streamlining the violation and notice <br />procedures contained therein, in order to provide for more effective Real Property <br />Maintenance Code enforcement in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />President O'Grady noted that an organizational meeting of the Ethics Commission would <br />take place at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, in the Council caucus room. <br />Councilman Gareau scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />January 25. Agenda items include an amendment to the preliminary land use plan for <br />Parcel E, an amendment to the approved plan for Kennedy Ridge townhouses, Resolution <br />2005-9, and Ordinances 2005-11 and 2004-200. The Law Director, Planning Director, a <br />representative from the Mayor's office and from the Building Dept. are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations Committee meeting <br />immediately following the BZD Committee on January 25 to discuss Resolution 2005-7. <br />A representative from the Building Department is asked to attend. <br />Councilman McKay scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting <br />immediately following the Intra-Governmental Relations Committee on January 25 to <br />discuss Resolution 2005-10. The Service Director or a representative from the WWTP is <br />asked to attend. <br />Councilman Miller scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting <br />immediately following the Environmental Control Committee on January 25 to discuss <br />the issue regarding smoking at area establishments. <br />Councilman Nashar made a motion to excuse the absence of Councilwoman Kasler.
