Council Minutes of 10/17lZ006 <br />Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Councilman Ryan moved for adoption. <br />''~~ The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 2006-175 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2006-176 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Miller on behalf of the entire City Council and Mayor O'Grady. A resolution requesting <br />the State of Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, (OEPA) and the City of Cleveland <br />Division of Air Quality provide the City of North Olmsted with written notice of all <br />actions, hearings, public meetings, and/or complaints regarding permits, odor or paint <br />booths at the Suburban Collision Center, located at 26618 Brookpark Road Extension, <br />North Olmsted, Ohio, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Miller moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review and noted it <br />had been discussed on several occasions. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Ryan and passed unanimously. Councilman Miller moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Ryan and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2006-176 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2006-177 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing payment to be made to Medtronic Emergency Response <br />Systems, and ratifying and affirming the purchase by the North Olmsted Fire Chief of a <br />Life Pak 12 Unit from said company and the trade-in of an old Life Pak Unit to said <br />company, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-178 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Ryan <br />on behalf of the entire City Council. An ordinance to revise the Codified Ordinances by <br />adopting current replacement pages, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Ryan <br />moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. <br />The motion was seconded by Council Member Dailey Jones and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Ryan moved for adoption. Ordinance No. 2006-178 adopted. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Miller scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October <br />24, to discuss Resolution 2006-174 and the Fifth Third Bank proposal. A written report <br />from Building Commissioner Conway regarding Resolution 2006-174 is requested. <br />Councilman Orlowski scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting <br />to immediately follow the BZD Committee on October 24 to discuss Resolution <br />2006-177. The Fire Chief, Safety Director, Law Director and Finance Director are asked <br />to attend. He asked that copy of ORC Section 5705.41 (d) be provided. <br />Council Member Dailey Jones made a motion to excuse the absence of Councilman <br />Gareau.
