Council Minutes of 9/5/2006 <br />Councilman Tallon scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for 7:15 on Tuesday, <br />September 12, to discuss Resolution No. 2006-148 and Ordinance Nos. 2006-151, 2006- <br />155 and 2006-156. The Finance Director and Mayor are asked to attend. <br />Council Member Dailey Jones scheduled a Streets & Transportation Committee meeting <br />to immediately follow the Finance Committee on September 12 to discuss Resolution No. <br />2006-150. The Service Director is asked to attend. <br />Councilman Gareau scheduled a BZD Committee meeting to immediately follow the <br />Streets & Transportation Committee on September 12 to discuss Ordinance Nos. 2006- <br />122 and 2006-130 and Planning & Design item Exit 2 Storage. The portion of the <br />meeting regarding Exit 2 storage will be chaired by another member of the committee. <br />The Law Director and Planning Director are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Orlowski scheduled a Public Safety Committee meeting to immediately <br />follow the BZD Committee on September 12 to discuss Codified Chapters 741, 555 and <br />Ordinance Nos. 2005-158, 2006-153, 2006-154. The Law Director, Assistant Law <br />Director Heyward, Mayor, Safety Director, Planning Director, Building Dept. <br />representative and Chamber of Commerce rep are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Orlowski tentatively scheduled a Public Safety Committee meeting for 7 <br />p.m. on Thursday, September 7, to discuss Ordinance 2006-157. The Mayor, Law <br />Director, Safety Director, Fire Chief and Human Resources Directar are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Miller addressed Service Director Limpert about a recent memo asking to <br />change the rotation of leaf pick-up so Zone 1 would not be first. The first pick-up in <br />Zone 1 usually takes place when the leaves are on the trees, which means they really only <br />get two pick-ups instead of three. Seemed like last year there was a sense of agreement <br />that the zones should be rotated. Is that issue being addressed? The Mayor said the <br />administration is going to look at that. Additionally, the entire layout of leaf pick-up is <br />not efficient, and that will be reworked. <br />Councilman Ryan scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations Committee meeting for <br />6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19, 2006.
