Council Minutes of 9/5/2006 <br />Ordinance No. 2006-153 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady <br />on behalf of himself and the entire City Council. An ordinance authorizing the Director <br />of Public Service to request proposals for consultant services for the analysis of the <br />municipal infrastructure and facilities for conformance to the Americans with Disabilities <br />Act (ADA); and further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of <br />Control, to enter into an agreement with the person or firm selected in the RFP process. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-154 was introduced and placed an first reading by Mayor O'Grady <br />on behalf of himself and the entire City Council. An ordinance authorizing the Director <br />of Public Service to request proposals for consultant services for the analysis of the <br />municipal programs and services for conformance to the Americans with Disabilities Act <br />(ADA); and further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Control, to <br />enter into an agreement with the person or firm selected in the RFP process. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-155 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Tallon on behalf of himself and Councilmen Miller and Orlowski. An ordinance <br />amending Ordinance Nos. 2002-52 and 2001-127 so as to provide that the special <br />revenue fund established by Ordinance No. 2001-127, as thereafter amended by <br />Ordinance No. 2002-52, shall be entitled the "Senior and Disabled Assistance Fund" and <br />that revenues in said fund may be expended for accessibility studies and municipal <br />infrastructure, facilities program and service improvements required by the Americans <br />with Disabilities Act (ADA). <br />Ordinance No. 2006-156 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance amending Section 131.01 of the Administrative Code, entitled "Mayor's <br />Contract Authority," in order to authorize the Mayor to execute credit applications and <br />credit contracts with city vendors approved through either the city purchase order or city <br />contracting process, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-157 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Safety to appoint a temporary, part-time <br />fire administrator to assist the Fire Chief, establishing a pay range, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2006-158 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the city, to enter into arevenue- <br />generating contract with Carol Haky, DBA Dawg Pound Hotdogs, to provide concession <br />services at the Recreation Complex and the city parks, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS ~TrT~SIN SS <br />Councilman Barker scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee <br />meeting to discuss Resolution No. 2006-158 at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12.
