Council Minutes of 5/16/2006
_,;. motion for suspension of the rules passed with six yes votes and one no vote. Dennis
'~.e Lambert, 25057 Carey Lane, came forward and said he was concerned with the timing of
it because, if the contract is going to end at the end of the year, and it's going to be June
or July and there will be projects that have begun in January, February or March that are
summer projects. The idea is a good idea, but it should be ending some time in January
so that an engineer can be an board for the projects of the upcoming season. This will
put the city at a disadvantage next year. It is bad timing. Councilman Miller moved far
adoption, and the motion was seconded by Councilman Barker.
