Council Minutes of 2/21/2006 for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Ryan and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2006-32 adopted. Ordinance No. 2006-33 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $2,875,000 for the purpose of improving certain designated streets in the city, in cooperation with the Director of Transportation of the State of Ohio, Cuyahoga County and otherwise, by grading, draining, widening, replacing sections of pavement, preparing the surface, surfacing and resurfacing, constructing and reconstructing sections of the pavement base, curbs, gutters, catch basins, manholes, sidewalks and driveway approaches and installing traffic signs, signalization and signalization systems, where necessary, in each case together with the necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Councilman Tallon moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Ryan and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2005-33 adopted. Ordinance No. 2006-34 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $2,090,000 for the purpose of improving certain designated streets in the city, in cooperation with the Director of Transportation of the State of Ohio and otherwise, by grading, draining, replacing sections of concrete pavement, preparing the surface, resurfacing and constructing and reconstructing sidewalks, where necessary, in each case together with the necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Ordinance No. 2006-35 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $560,000 to pay costs of acquiring emergency rescue squad and other motor vehicles and related equipment for the city's Fire Department. Councilman Tallon moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Ryan and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2006-35 adopted. Ordinance No. 2006-36 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $360,000 to pay costs of acquiring and installing computers and related equipment and software. Councilman Tallon moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller. Roll call: yes votes: Tallon, Miller, Gareau, Dailey Jones, Orlowski, Tallon; no vote: Ryan. The motion passed with six yes votes and one no vote. Ordinance No. 2006-36 adopted. Ordinance No. 2006-37 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $330,000 to pay costs of acquiring motor vehicles and equipment for use in carrying out functions of the Department of Public Service. Councilman Tallon moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Ryan and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2006-37 adopted. Ordinance No. 2006-38 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $255,000 for the purpose of improving the city's sanitary sewer system by improving and equipping the Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Bradley, Broxbourne and Le Bern pump stations.
