Ordinance No. <br />2006-13 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2006-14 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Community Life Services to file an application <br />with the National Council on the Aging and the MetLife Foundation for a grant to initiate <br />a "Wisdom Works: Building Better Communities" program at the North Olmsted Senior <br />Center, further authorizing the Mayor to accept the grant, if awarded, and to execute all <br />documents necessary to effectuate receipt of the grant, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Tallon moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and formal <br />committee review. Resolution No. 2006-14 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-15 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Gareau on behalf of himself and Council Members Barker, Miller, Dailey Jones and <br />Orlowski. An ordinance amending Section 927.07 of Chapter 927 (Storm Water <br />Management and Urban Sediment Pollution Abatement Systems) of the Streets, Utilities <br />and Public Services Code, in order to remove therefrom the provision that stormwater <br />storage facilities must be approved by, in addition to the City Engineer, the Planning and <br />Design Commission and the City Council. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-16 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance controlling post-construction storm water runoff quality in an effort to <br />improve the quality of water in the rivers, streams, ponds and lakes within the various <br />watersheds in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2006-17 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a renewed agreement with Cuyahoga <br />County Juvenile Court in connection with the Community Diversion Program which <br />addresses juvenile misdemeanor and status offenders in the City of North Olmsted, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Tallon moved for suspension of the rules requiring <br />three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Council <br />Member Dailey Jones and passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 2006-17 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-18 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $6,815,000 for the purpose of refunding at a lower interest cost the <br />$6,815,000 of the city's outstanding library improvement bonds, series 2001, dated as of <br />May 1, 2001 and stated to mature on December 1 in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2020, <br />which were issued for the purpose of constructing, furnishing, equipping and otherwise <br />improving a free public library building and acquiring, preparing, landscaping and <br />otherwise improving its site; authorizing and directing the call for optional redemption on <br />12 <br />.~ ~. .,~_ ,.~r~,~~~, <br />
