Council Minutes of 2/7/2006 <br />Ordinance No. 2006-33 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $2,875,000 for the purpose of improving certain designated streets in <br />the city, in cooperation with the Director of Transportation of the State of Ohio, <br />Cuyahoga County and otherwise, by grading, draining, widening, replacing sections of <br />pavement, preparing the surface, surfacing and resurfacing, constructing and <br />reconstructing sections of the pavement base, curbs, gutters, catch basins, manholes, <br />sidewalks and driveway approaches and installing traffic signs, signalization and <br />signalization systems, where necessary, in each case together with the necessary <br />appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Finance Committee Chairperson Tallon said <br />he was in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-34 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $2,090,000 for the purpose of improving certain designated streets in <br />the city, in cooperation with the Director of Transportation of the State of Ohio and <br />otherwise, by grading, draining, replacing sections of concrete pavement, preparing the <br />surface, resurfacing and constructing and reconstructing sidewalks, where necessary, in <br />each case together with the necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. <br />Finance Committee Chairperson Tallon said he was in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's <br />Certificate. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-35 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $560,000 to pay costs of acquiring emergency rescue squad and other <br />motor vehicles and related equipment for the city's Fire Department. Finance Committee <br />Chairperson Tallon said he was in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-36 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $360,000 to pay costs of acquiring and installing computers and <br />related equipment and software. Finance Committee Chairperson Tallon said he was in <br />receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-37 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $330,000 to pay costs of acquiring motor vehicles and equipment for <br />use in carrying out functions of the Department of Public Service. Finance Committee <br />Chairperson Tallon said he was in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-38 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $255,000 for the purpose of improving the city's sanitary sewer <br />system by improving and equipping the Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Bradley, <br />Broxbourne and Le Bern pump stations.
