Council Minutes of 2/7/2006 <br />Ordinance No. 2006-39 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $840,000 for the purpose of improving certain designated streets in <br />the city, in cooperation with the Ohio Department of Transportation and otherwise, by <br />preparing the surface, adjusting manholes and catch basins, surfacing and resurfacing and <br />reconstructing curb ramps, where necessary, in each case together with the necessary <br />appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Finance Committee Chairperson Tallon said <br />he was in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-40 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $240,000 to pay costs of acquiring motor vehicles and related <br />equipment for use in providing city services. Finance Committee Chairperson Tallon <br />said he was in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-41 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $90,000 for the purpose of renovating, rehabilitating, equipping and <br />otherwise improving the city's Wastewater Treatment Plant facilities. Finance <br />Committee Chairperson Tallon said he was in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-42 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $80,000 for the purpose of renovating, rehabilitating and otherwise <br />improving the city's Fire Station One. Finance Committee Chairperson Tallon said he <br />was in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-43 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $60,000 to pay costs of acquiring aback-up generator for the Police <br />Station. Finance Committee Chairperson Tallon said he was in receipt of the Fiscal <br />Officer's Certificate. <br />Resolution No. 2006-44 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />construction of the new City Hall ADA compliant front entrance, as per specifications on <br />file in his office, and authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval by the Board of Control, <br />to enter into a contract for same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2006-45 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to enter into <br />an agreement with the Board of Cuyahoga County Commissioners for the purpose of <br />accepting a FY2004 Urban Area Security Initiative Grant for the Fire Department, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Tallon moved for suspension of the rules requiring <br />three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />19 <br /> <br />
