Council Minutes of 2/7/2006 <br />Ryan and passed unanimously. Councilman Tallon moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Ryan and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2006-45 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-46 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance to authorize the city to enter into an agreement with the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Cuyahoga County for the replacement of Lewis Road Bridge No. 21 <br />over the west branch of Rocky River, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2006-47 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution ratifying the application of the Director of Community Life Services for a <br />Family Caregiver Support Program grant from the Western Reserve Area Agency on <br />Aging (WRAA), further authorizing the Mayor to accept the grant and to execute all <br />documents necessary to effectuate receipt of the grant, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Ryan moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and formal <br />committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Ryan moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2006-47 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-4$ was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady on <br />behalf of himself and the entire City Council. An ordinance creating new Chapter 763 <br />(Public Dance Halls; Teen Dance Clubs) of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances in <br />order to regulate dance halls and teen dance clubs, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2006-49 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Orlowski on behalf of himself, the Mayor and the entire City Council. A resolution <br />objecting to the transfer of ownership of the liquor permit at 29047 Lorain Road, North <br />Olmsted, Ohio, from Trimus LLC, DBA "Krobar," to Mark Hammond Enterprises, Inc., <br />requesting a hearing before the Division of Liquor Control on the advisability of <br />transferring said permit, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Orlowski moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Ryan and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />Orlowski moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and <br />passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2006-49 adopted. <br />MISCELLANEOUS #IUSINESS <br />Councilman Barker scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee <br />meeting for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, to discuss Resolution Nos. 2006-4 and <br />2006-44. The Service Director, Law Director, Mayor, school representatives, and the <br />Planning Director and consultant for the front entrance project are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Tallon scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, February 14, at <br />7 p.m. to discuss Ordinance Nos. 2006-18 through 2006-43 and Ordinance 2006-12.
