Council Minutes of 12/18/2007 amended. Councilman Tallon moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings noting the legislation had been heard in committee. A resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the city, to enter into and execute an agreement with the Senior Transportation Connection of Cuyahoga County, Ohio ("STC"), extending the Tatter's lease of real property owned by the city and located at 26272 Butternut Ridge Road to June 30, 2008; and declaring an emergency. An ordinance amending Sections 351.18 and 351.20 of the Traffic Code in order to increase the penalties for handicapped parking violations so as to mirror current state iaw, as amended. A resolution authorizing the Director of Human Resources, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to apply to the Bureau of Workers Compensation for allowance to begin aself- insured workers compensation program for North Olmsted employees; further authorizing the Mayor to execute any contracts or related papers required to effectuate such aself-insured program; and declaring an emergency. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to purchase three (3) new Crown Victoria Interceptor Cruisers and two (2) new Ford Taurus detective cars, and related police equipment, for the North Olmsted Police Department either through the State purchase program or by competitive bidding conducted by Bidbridge, LLC; further authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract and/or any other necessary documents in connection with said purchase; and declaring an emergency.
