Council Minutes of 12/18/2007 <br />rental of golf carts and other vehicles for Springvale, and authorizing the Mayor to enter <br />into a contract for said vehicle rentals, subject to approval by the Board of Control, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker moved for suspension of the rules requiring <br />three readings and committee review. The motion was seconded by Council Member <br />Jones and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion <br />was seconded by Council Member Jones and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2007- <br />148 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2007-149 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into one-year renewal contracts with TAC <br />Computer Inc. in order to provide for maintenance and repair services to various <br />computer hardware and software at the Police Department, and for membership in the <br />Ohio Law Enforcement Network, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2007-150 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution accepting a grant from the Ohio Department of Public Safety for the Police <br />Department's participation in the Third Grade Safety Belt Program, authorizing the <br />Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Ohio Department of Public Safety setting forth <br />the terms and conditions of the grant and participation in the said program, and declaring <br />an emergency. Councilman Tallon moved for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings and committee review. The motion was seconded by Council Member Jones <br />and passed unanimously. Councilman Tallon moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Council Member Jones and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2007-150 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2007-151 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for diesel fuel <br />and gasoline products for use by the City of North Olmsted, as per specifications now on <br />file in his office, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2007-152 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the City of North Olmsted, through the organization known as <br />America Supporting Americans, to adopt Battery B, Third Battalion of the 319`'' Airborne <br />Field Artillery Regiment, 82°d Airborne Division, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Ryan moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and <br />committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Ryan moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2007-152 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2007-153 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution adopting the digital map created by the City Engineer as the official zoning <br />map of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution No. 2007-154 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution approving the award of a job creation grant to Advanstar Communications, <br />15 <br />
