Council Minutes of 10/16/2007 <br />Ordinance No. 2007-118 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Director of Human Resources to solicit proposals for the personal <br />services of a third party administrator (TPA) to process health insurance claims and including the <br />purchases of excess insurance coverage for the city health care and hospitalization plans for <br />2008, and further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Control, to enter <br />into a contract for said services and insurance, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-119 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. An <br />ordinance locally designating and naming the entire section of County Road Nos. 76 and 118 as <br />located within the City of North Olmsted, from the city's southern corporation line to its northern <br />corporation line, Stearns Road. <br />Resolution No. 2007-120 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. A <br />resolution extending the city's contract with Richard L. Bowen & Associates, Inc., and Daniel J. <br />Collins, City Engineer, to provide engineering consulting services augmenting and assisting the <br />city's Engineering Division, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Tallon moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review as the contract is up at the <br />end of the month before the next Council meeting. More information is needed, so the extension <br />was agreed to. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Tallon moved for adoption. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to enter into a contract <br />with the West Life Publishing Co. for the purpose of publishing a North Olmsted Magazine for <br />the 2008 calendar year. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-122 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. An <br />ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio (hereinafter referred to <br />as the Municipality), in the matter of the resurfacing of Dover Center Road from Butternut Ridge <br />Road to the Westlake SCL and Fitch Road from the North Olmsted SCL to Butternut Ridge <br />Road and requests the cooperation of the County of Cuyahoga by its Board of County <br />Commissioners (hereinafter referred to as the County) and declaring an emergency. Council <br />Member Dailey Jones moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee <br />review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. An <br />ordinance amending Section 915.04 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted to <br />establish revised user charges for the use of the municipal sanitary sewer system; repealing <br />existing Section 915.04 of the Codified Ordinances; and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-124 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. An <br />ordinance to adopt a new Clapter 902, entitled "Use of Public Right-of--Way by Service <br />Providers and Contractors Performing Work on Service Provider Facilities," and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />9 <br />
