Council Minutes of 6/19/2007 Ordinance No. 2006-80. An ordinance creating new Section 179.OS of Chapter 179 of the City Administrative Code entitled "Department of Planning," in order to establish the position of Economic Development Officer. Tabled. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to hold city-sponsored events on Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Veteran's Day, during Homecoming, and on the day designated by the Mayor for the annual tree lighting ceremony. An ordinance amending Sections 721.04, 721.OS, 721.06, and 721.07 of the Business Regulation Code, entitled "Temporary Business License; Fee and Duration," "Location of Temporary Place of Business," and "Deposit for Cleaning Premises," in order to further regulate the outdoor storage and sale of goods from commercial parking areas, to restrict commercial tent and sidewalk sales, and declaring an emergency, as amended.
