Council Minutes of 6/5/2007 Ordinance No. 2007-75 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. An ordinance authorizing the acceptance of an access easement for the "hammerhead" terminus of Kennedy Ridge Road, located on property owned by Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA), and as further described and recorded on the Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2007-76 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. An ordinance accepting a water main easement located on property owned by Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA), as further described and recorded on the Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, and declaring an emergency. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilman Miller scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting for 7 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2007, to discuss Resolution 2007-67 and Ordinance 2007-38. The Mayor, Service Director and Pretreatment Coordinator are asked to attend. The Law Department is asked to provide a definition of "heavily populated residential areas" as referred to in Resolution 2007-67. Councilman Ryan scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations Committee meeting for 7:15 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2007, to discuss Resolution 2007-64. The Mayor is asked to attend. Councilman Tallon scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for 7:30 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2007, to discuss Resolutions 2007-65 and 2007-66 and Ordinance 2007-68. the Service Director and Law Director are asked to attend, and the Finance Director is asked to provide written input. Councilman Orlowski scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting for 8 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2007, to discuss Ordinances 2007-71 and 2007-72. The sponsors of the legislation, Councilman Ryan and the Law Director are asked to attend. Councilman Gareau scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for 8:30 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2007, to discuss Ordinances 2007-73, 2007-74, 2007-75 and 2007-76. The Law Director, Planning Director and representatives from RTA are asked to attend. Councilman Ryan paid tribute to his friend Robert Huber who recently passed away. Mr. Huber was a retired Capt. in the United States Marine Corps, raised a wonderful family and was a good person. Councilman Ryan made a motion to adjourn.
