The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller and passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 2007-69 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2007-70 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution retroactively authorizing the Administrator of the Division of Youth <br />Services to file an application with Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court for additional <br />funding for programs and materials for the Community Diversion program; further <br />authorizing the Mayor to accept the grant, if awarded, and to execute a contract if <br />required; finally authorizing the Administrator of the Division of Youth Services to <br />execute all other documents necessary to effectuate receipt of the grant, and declaring an <br />emergency. Resolution No. 2007-70 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-71 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance creating new Section 525.21 of the General Offenses Code entitled "False <br />Information," in order to prohibit providing false information to public officers or <br />employees for the purpose of obtaining tuition free assistance at public schools or other <br />public benefits. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-72 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Barker on behalf of himself, Mayor O'Grady and Council Member Dailey Jones. An <br />ordinance amending Sections 721.01, 721.03 and 721.09, and creating new Section <br />721.031, of Chapter 721 of the Business Regulation Code (Peddlers, Solicitors and <br />Canvassers) in order to create a "Do Not Knock Registry" and to update various other <br />provisions of this Chapter of the Business Regulation Code. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-73 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Greater <br />Cleveland Regional Transit Authority ("GCRTA"), providing for the maintenance and <br />repair costs for Kennedy Ridge Road, including the terminus thereof, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-74 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance consenting to and vacating a portion of Kennedy Ridge Road and <br />approving the vacation plat presented by the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit <br />Authority ("GCRTA"), and declaring an emergency. <br />17 <br />
