The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2007-6I adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2007-62 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution extending for an additional three month period the contract with Richard L. <br />Bowen & Associates, Inc., and Daniel J. Collins to, respectively, provide engineering <br />consulting services to the city and serve as City Engineer. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-63 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance creating new Section 111.011 of the Administrative Code, entitled "City Police <br />Towing and Storage Contracts," in order to authorize the Mayor to execute towing and <br />storage contracts with towing contractors who meet North Olmsted Police Department <br />rules and regulations. <br />Resolution No. 2007-64 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution urging an end to the conflict in Iraq. <br />Resolution No. 2007-65 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />purchase of five thousand (5,000) tons of stone for various Service Department needs <br />throughout the city, as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor <br />to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder for said purchase, after Board of <br />Control approval, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2007-66 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />purchase of five thousand (5,000) tons of asphalt, tack coating and related items for <br />various Service Department needs throughout the city, as detailed in the specifications on <br />file, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder <br />for said purchase, after Board of Control approval, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2007-67 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution urging the State to place a moratorium on oil and gas well drilling in <br />heavily populated residential areas and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-68 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance creating new Chapter 112 of the Administrative Code entitled "Personal <br />Service Contracts," in order to establish new procedures for soliciting qualifications and <br />requesting proposals in connection with personal service contracts, and repealing <br />Sections 111.03 et seq. of Chapter 111 of the Administrative Code. <br />Resolution No. 2007-69 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Gareau on behalf of himself and the entire City Council. A resolution accepting the <br />donation of a conference table and glass protective top from President of Council Kevin <br />Kennedy for use in the City Council Caucus Room only.
