Council Minutes of 6/5/2007 <br />my vote is no." Roll call continued: Miller, yes; Orlowski, yes. The motion passed with <br />four yes votes and three no votes. Ordinance No. 2007-SO adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-52 introduced by Councilman Orlowski was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance amending Section SOS.1S of Chapter SOS (Animals and Fowl} of the <br />General Offenses Code, entitled "Keeping, Maintaining and Feeding of Wild Animals," <br />in order to prohibit displaying, maintaining or in any other manner keeping wild animals <br />at temporary events or retail stores in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Orlowski moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2007-52 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-30 introduced by Mayor O'Grady on behalf of himself and Council <br />Members Miller, Gareau, Orlowski, Tallon, Barker and Jones was given its second <br />reading as amended. An ordinance amending Section 1135.02 of Chapter 1135 (One and <br />Two Family Residence Districts) of the Zoning Code in order to regulate the placement <br />of portable storage containers in One and Two Family Residence Districts of the City of <br />North Olmsted as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-41 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a ground lease with option agreement with <br />T-Mobile and approving site development to locate a cellular monopole tower and <br />facilities at Fire Station #2, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-54 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2007. <br />Councilman Tallon moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Ryan and passed unanimously. Councilman Tallon <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Ryan and passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 2007-54 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2007-59 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Chief of Police to apply for law enforcement grant funds from <br />the State of Ohio for Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) for fiscal 2007-2008 <br />and, if the application is granted, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement <br />with the State of Ohio, or the appropriate State of Ohio law enforcement agency, to <br />accept said grant funding on behalf of the city. <br />Resolution No. 2007-61 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Human Resources to apply for a Drug Free <br />Workplace Program Safety Grant from the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation to <br />partially reimburse the city for funds expended on employee education and supervisor <br />training; further authorizing the Mayor to accept the grant, if awarded, and to execute a <br />contract with the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation; and finally authorizing the <br />Director of Human Resources to execute all other non-contract documents necessary to <br />effectuate receipt of the grant.
