Council Minutes of 3/6/2007 <br />Those types of things happen between people and neighbors. Regarding the incident where <br />a cable person came to his home, an incident like this could cause a tragedy when an <br />employee goes door to door and incites problems between neighbors. He feels it is <br />important this is on the record. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 2007-11 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Maxim Health Systems, LLC, <br />for the administration of influenza and pneumonia vaccines at the North Olmsted Senior <br />Center. Councilman Tallon moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Ryan and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2007-11 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-15 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Safety to request proposals for plans examiner <br />and back-up plans examiner services; and further authorizing the Mayor, subject to <br />approval of the Board of Control, to enter into atwo-year agreement with the examiners <br />selected in the RFP process and declaring an emergency as amended. Councilman Gareau <br />moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Miller and passed unanimously. Councilman Gareau moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. <br />2007-15 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2007-19 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for asphalt <br />resurfacing on concrete streets and asphalt recycling on asphalt streets along with related <br />catch basin, manhole, sidewalk and curbing repairs at various locations in the City of North <br />Olmsted as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into <br />a contract with the lowest and best bidder for said repairs, and declaring an emergency. <br />Council Member Dailey Jones moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Council <br />Member Dailey Jones moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2007-19 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2007-22 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Gareau <br />on behalf of himself and Mayor O'Grady. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public <br />Service to advertise for bids for cracksealing on various streets in the City of North <br />Olmsted, as per specifications on file in his office, and authorizing the Mayor to enter into <br />a contract for same. <br />Resolution No. 2007-23 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the Cuyahoga County Board <br />of Health for mosquito control and larval aerial applications in Bradley Woods, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Tallon moved for suspension of the rules requiring <br />three readings and committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller <br />and passed unanimously.
