Resolution No. 2007-23 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-24 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. An <br />ordinance extending for a one hundred twenty day period the temporary, part-time Fire <br />Administrator position in the North Olmsted Fire Department created by Ordinance No. <br />2006-157, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Orlowski moved for suspension of <br />the rules requiring three readings and committee review. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Ryan and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. <br />2007-24 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-25 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Barker. <br />An ordinance amending Section 505.16 of Chapter 505 (Animals and Fowl) of the General <br />Offenses Code, entitled "Vicious and Dangerous Animals," in order to require registration <br />of pit bulls, wolf-hybrids and vicious animals kept in the City of North Olmsted, and to <br />impose liability insurance and other requirements upon the owners of such animals, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-26 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. An <br />ordinance adopting a model ordinance for illicit discharge and illegal connection control <br />and creating new Chapter 933 of the Utilities Code. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-27 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council Member <br />Dailey Jones on behalf of herself and Mayor O'Grady. An ordinance establishing new <br />regulations relating to the removal and deposit of snow and ice on sidewalks, tree lawn <br />areas, and driveway aprons in the City of North Olmsted; creating new Section 765.02 of <br />the Business Regulation Code; amending Section 521.06 and 521.11 of the General <br />Offenses Code; and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUS,~NESS <br />Councilman Miller scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting to begin after <br />the public hearing on Tuesday, March 13, 2007, to discuss Ordinance 2007-26. The Mayor <br />is asked to provide the name of the individual who will make the presentation. <br />Council member Dailey Jones scheduled a Streets & Transportation committee meeting for <br />7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 to discuss Resolution 2007-22 and Ordinance 2007- <br />27. The Mayor, Service Director, Law Director and a Chamber of Commerce <br />representative are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Barker scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee meeting <br />immediately following the Streets & Transportation Committee on March 13 to discuss <br />Resolution 2007-21. The Community Life Services Director is asked to attend. <br />
