Council Minutes of 1/2/2007 MISCELLANEUU,~ S ~USiNESs Councilman Miller made a motion that Council appoint Mr. Ron Tallon as President Pro Tem for the calendar year of 2007. The motion was seconded by Councilman Ryan and passed unanimously. Councilman Tallon is the 2007 President Pro Tem. Council Member Dailey Jones scheduled a Streets & Transportation Committee meeting for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2007, regarding the streets survey. The Service Director and City Engineer are asked to attend. Councilman Miller scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting to immediately follow the Streets & Transportation Committee on Wednesday, January 10, to discuss the December 29, 2006 from Mr. Nichols to the Ohio EPA and related topics. If Mr. Gareau indicates he is ready for the committee to go forward with 2006-179, that will be on the agenda as well. The Service Director, WWTP Superintendent and Mayor are welcome to attend. Councilman Ryan scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations Committee meeting for 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 to consider the resumes submitted for the position on the Recreation Commission. The Mayor invited to attend. Councilman Gareau scheduled a BZD Committee meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, prior to the Council meeting for any final questions on Ordinance 2005-165 and to discuss Ordinance 2006-200. The Planning Director is asked to attend. President Kennedy asked for a moment of silence in memory of Michael J. Holtz and all our men and women in uniform. Councilman Ryan made a motion to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller and passed unanimously.
