. ' Special Council Minutes of 12/30!2008 LEGISLATION Ordinance No. 2008-155 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. An ordinance amending Sections 3 and 8 of Ordinance No. 2002-103 which, inter alia, established fees and charges for emergency medical services rendered by the North Olmsted Fire Department, as previously amended by Ordinance No. 2002-154, in order to increase fees and charges and further to provide for all billing revenues to be paid into the General Fund and declaring an emergency as amended. Councilman Gareau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2008-155 adopted. Ordinance No. 2008-162 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures far the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2009 as amended. Councilman Gareau moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings for the reason the appropriation ordinance must be in place by January 1, 2009 in order to meet our obligations. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Councilman Gareau moved for adoption, and the motion was seconded by Councilman Barker. Roll call: Gareau, yes; Barker, yes; Ryan, yes with comment his vote does not indicate he is happy with the way the budget stands at the moment. But last year we almost had a situation where employees did not get paid, .and he doesn't want that to happen again. So his vote is yes for now. Roll call continued: Mahoney, yes; Jones, yes; Orlowski, yes; Kearney, yes. The motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2008-162 adopted.
