Council Minutes of 11/18/2008 <br />committee, and the Mayor has requested passage under suspension of the rule. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />Gareau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and <br />passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2008-148 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-149 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance revising the organizational chart of the Division of Parks and Recreation by <br />abolishing the position of Maintenance Foreman in order to deliver services in a more <br />efficient and economical manner, and declaring an emergency, as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-150 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 3 1, 2008 <br />Resolution No. 2008-1 S 1 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Administrator of the Division of Aging to apply for Federal <br />Title III Program Grant Funds for fiscal year 2009; further authorizing the Mayor, if the <br />application is granted, to enter into an agreement or agreements with the Western Reserve <br />Area Office on Aging to accept said grant funds; and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Mahoney moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and <br />committee review for the reasons cited by the Community Life Services Director and <br />Mayor during caucus. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Mahoney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2008-1 S 1 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-152 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance establishing rates of compensation for various administrative and <br />legislative personnel for the year 2009. <br />Resolution No. 2008-153 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the payment of three thousand, five hundred seventy-seven <br />dollars and fifty cents ($3,S77.S0) to Boss Concrete for the installation of concrete at the <br />North Olmsted Recreation Center skate park and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Mahoney scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee <br />meeting for 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2S, 2008 to discuss Resolution No. 2008-153. <br />The Community Life Services Director and Finance Director are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Gareau scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for 8:10 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />November 2S, 2008 to discuss Ordinances 2008-142, 2008-143, 2008-144, 2008-145, <br />2008-146, 2008-1 S0, and 2008-1 S2. The Finance Director and the Mayor or his designee <br />are asked to attend. <br />13 <br />
