f ~~ <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />OCTOBER 28, 2(108 <br />Present: President of Council Kennedy, Council Members Barker, Gareau, <br />Dailey Jones, Kearney, Mahoney, Orlowski <br />Also Present: Mayor O'Grady, Law Director Dubelko, Finance Director Copfer, Clerk of <br />Council Seman <br />Absent: Council Member Ryan <br />President Kennedy called the special Council meeting to order at 8:35 p.m. in Council <br />Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />President Kennedy invited Councilman Kearney to lead the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />Members of the audience were invited to come forward and speak with regard to items <br />which were on the agenda for reconsideration and/or tabling. No one came forward. <br />RECONSIDERATION, TABBING, REPORTS <br />Councilman Gareau made a motion to reconsider Resolutions 2008-115, 2008-116; <br />Ordinance 2008-118; Resolutions 2008-125, 2008-126. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Gareau made a motion to table Resolutions 2008-115, 2008-116; Ordinance <br />2008-118; Resolutions 2008-125, 2008-126. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2008-115, Resolution No. 2008-116, <br />Ordinance No. 2008-118, Resolution No. 2008-125 and Resolution No. 2008-126 were <br />tabled. <br />Councilman Barker made a motion to reconsider Exit 2 Storage. The motion was <br />seconded by Council Member Dailey Jones. Roll call: Barker, yes; Jones, yes; <br />Mahoney, yes; Orlowski, yes; Kearney, yes; Gareau, abstain for the purpose of an <br />attorney/client relationship with Mr. Schmidt. The motion passed with five yes votes and <br />one abstention. <br />Councilman Barker moved for a recess of the special Council meeting in order tc <br />convene a Building, Zoning & Development Committee meeting. The motions was <br />seconded by Council Member Jones and passed unanimously. <br /> <br />
