<br />Council Minutes of S/6/2008 <br />the Fire Chief to become a member of the unclassified service of the city, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-70 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Mahoney. An <br />ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted of <br />amendments to Article IV, Sections 3 and 9, of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to <br />confer additional powers and duties upon the office of the President of Council in order to <br />improve the conduct of the business operations of the City Council, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2008-71 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Maxim Health Systems, LLC, for <br />the administration of influenza and pneumonia vaccines at the North Olmsted Senior Center. <br />Councilman Mahoney moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee <br />review. Resolution No. 2008-71 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-72 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Barker. An <br />ordinance amending Section 1117.05 of the Zoning Code in order to more effectively comport <br />with Fourth Amendment Constitutional requirements. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-73 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Bazker. An <br />ordinance amending Section 1331.13 of the Building Code in order to more effectively comport <br />with Fourth Amendment Constitutional requirements. <br />Resolution No. 2008-74 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Law to commence suit on behalf of the City of North <br />Olmsted to collect funds due on an agreement with Cleveland Hockey Supply to operate a <br />Proshop at the Recreation Center, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Mahoney moved <br />for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review. The motion was <br />seconded by Council Member Dailey Jones and passed unanimously. A resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted, to enter into a cooperative agreement with St. Richard's Parish to support its <br />membership in the Greater Cleveland Food Bank (GCFB) and to facilitate emergency food <br />provisions for the North Olmsted Food Cupboard, and declaring an emergency. Councilman <br />Ryan moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2008-75 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2008-76 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council Member Dailey <br />Jones on behalf of herself and Councilman Barker.
